The Sylvia Walton Building at La Trobe University is a five star building for student and staff that was named after former Chancellor, Dr Sylvia Walton AO, in recognition of her outstanding leadership at the University. An outstanding six story, $45 million building is an iconic beacon showcasing eclectic design and cutting edge student facilities.
Louvreclad provided the custom designed, feature sunhoods and wall panels, using a unique concealed fixing method which allowed the ‘floating look’ of this architectural feature to be brought to life. The Sapphire anodised finish applied to the four metre sheets of varying shapes and colours provided a striking result. Installation was carried out with meticulous care and completion was ahead of schedule.
