RAAF Growler AEAC Facility – RAAF Base Amberley

Amberley, QLD

Louvreclad was proud to support the delivery of critical infrastructure for Australia’s cutting-edge electronic warfare capability at RAAF Base Amberley. As part of the Growler Airborne Electronic Attack Capability (AEAC) Facilities Project, we designed, engineered, manufactured, and installed a suite of architectural screening and ventilation systems across Stages 5 and 6 of the development.

Our scope included Nexus Series® ventilation louvres, Delta Series® secure steel louvres, and Ocean and Wickham Series® elliptical blades — all 100% Australian made, non-combustible, and engineered to meet stringent Defence specifications. These systems were integrated across key facilities including hangars, workshops, and the No. 6 Squadron headquarters, delivering durable, high-performance exteriors in one of the most secure and operationally sensitive precincts in the country.

Through disciplined delivery and close coordination, Louvreclad contributed to a world-class ground support hub for the RAAF’s EA-18G Growler fleet — enhancing Australia’s electronic warfare readiness and capability.
