A stunning crown to a magnificent skyscraper design and centrepiece to Brisbane’s Riverside district. By day it features like a beacon and by night it provides a beautiful light show to Brisbane’s skyline.

An Incredible 80% open area with Zero Vision Louvres

The final specification for this building’s rooftop plant screen required zero vision louvres, maximum air flow, an incredible 80 percent free open area with fixings designed and engineered to withstand the massive wind pressures on the roof of this 56 story building.
To achieve this, Louvreclad developed the custom folded 3mm aluminium, 300mm deep Altura Series® Chevron louvres, a simple yet sophisticated louvre solution designed exclusively for this project.

Performance tested to AS/NZS 4740:2000, Louvreclad Altura Series® achieves a Class 1 for aerodynamics and a Class B for rain defence making it one of the highest performing louvres on the market for both rain defence and aerodynamics.
Louvreclad’s turn-key project solution, included custom design & engineering, supply and install of 100 lineal metres of 10 metre high zero vision louvres, and the project was managed seamlessly from design through to installation.
One of our more challenging but rewarding project scopes simply due to the sheer height & location of the louvres.
