Contemporary window hoods increase building aesthetics and performance

Situated in the heart of Ringwood, Evelyn Apartments offers a bespoke solution to contemporary residential living by providing contemporary window hoods to the exterior of this bespoke apartment block.
The building design is individual and unique with  large picture frame windows that allow for plenty of natural light and a connection between the interior and exterior. While natural light was top priority, Idle Architecture Studio also gave careful consideration to minimise and reduce direct solar glare without blocking the view. This was achieved using the Scarborough Series range.
The proposed solution utilized Louvreclad 300x20mm Scarborough Series Sun Hoods as an architectural feature that frames the parameter of  the windows
The Polaris Series® perforated metal screens were also used as privacy screens on the balconies. A unique 3mm custom pattern was created. The pattern replicates the honeycomb design which flows throughout the interiors. A stylishly contemporary look, designed to accentuate the connection to its location.
