Enhanced Land Force Stage 2B – Gallipoli Barracks

Enoggera, QLD

As part of the $800 million Enhanced Land Force Stage 2B (ELF 2B) redevelopment, Louvreclad was proud to contribute to one of Australia’s most significant Defence infrastructure programs. Located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, this major expansion increased the base’s capacity from 3,000 to over 5,400 personnel and involved the delivery of more than 165 new and refurbished buildings across 900 hectares.

Working alongside John Holland, BVN, and Conrad Gargett, Louvreclad manufactured and installed a wide range of architectural solutions across key operational, training, accommodation, and command facilities. Our scope included high-performance ventilation louvres, sunshades, operable glass louvres, acoustic louvres, sunscreens, and modular fins — all engineered to meet Defence-grade durability, compliance, and aesthetic standards.

With multiple areas — including HQ 1 Division, 1st Intelligence Battalion, 7th Combat Signal Regiment, and the 8/9 RAR — Louvreclad products featured across vehicle shelters, live-in accommodation, administration buildings, and specialist precincts. Each solution was designed to deliver long-term value, low maintenance, and secure airflow, tailored to the high-performance requirements of a modern Australian Defence facility.

This project exemplifies Louvreclad’s end-to-end capability and trusted track record on large-scale, secure, and mission-critical infrastructure.
